A couple of hours on the terrace on an August afternoon is to be recommended. The place is relaxed and friendly. Plenty of choice on the menufrom snacks to £14.5 main cours. We enjoyed a sort of DIY tapas experience by selecting from starter and light bite sections of the menu. All were delicious. Good to see that they venture to keep a real ale on the go. The fact that it's a social enterprise that's benefitting from the business is icing on the cake

had an enjoyable lunch at the olive tree today, staff friendly and helpful, nice atmosphere and lovely views across ironbridge. Varied menu offering home cooked food and locally sourced produce, and enabling adults with a learning disability to have experience of a working life and a feeling of self-worth.
Always a lovelys meal with good service

We visited the Olive Tree the first night of our holiday in Ironbridge. If you don't like Indian or Italian the choice of restaurants is a little lacking in Ironbridge so book yourself a table to avoid disappointment. The Olive Tree is a 'true' restaurant, the choice is very good, the service is excellent and attentive (although the waitresses ability to divide the bill into two equal parts proved a bit of a problem) and the food is very good value. I had the rib eye steak which was the best I've had for a very long time. Strongly recommended.
A real find

Run by a charity helping those less advantaged than us this restaurant is a true credit to those whom society often puts to one side.
The ambience and the people were very friendly ( and there's a sunny terrace for warm days) and the food was much more than we expected. Recommend to all.
Easy to miss but you won't be disappointed!

My wife and I are regular visitors to The Olive Tree, along with The Severn Restaurant it has become our two favourite eating places having visited all of the eating places in Ironbridge.
The food is excellent and the service is always very good. The garden terrace has a stunning view of Ironbridge. The Olive Tree is easy to walk past on Ironbridge High Street but make the effort and it is certainly
